Spicy buttermilk chicken

I came up with recipe cause I didn't want to waste buttermilk that was about to go bad.  I think it turned out pretty well but I think next time I would use bread crumbs instead of Panko.


Spicy Buttermilk Chicken

1 cup Buttermilk
2 chicken breasts
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Siracha hot sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
dash of pepper
dash of red pepper flakes

1 1/2 cups Panko crumbs-I added some italian seasoning to mine for added flavor

Combine all ingredients into the buttermilk.  Add the chicken breasts.  I let mine marinate for about 4 hours prior to cooking. Put Panko crumbs on a separate plate and roll chicken breast until covered.  Place in a sprayed Pyrex dish and bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until no longer pink.
