Cream Cheese Won tons

First, let me apologize for my lack of photography skills!  My picture does not give these won tons any justice.  They turned out perfect!
Tonight for dinner I went with a Chinese theme.   We had peppered beef, fried rice and cream cheese won tons with home made sweet and sour sauce!  The only thing that would have made this meal better was to have a bus boy cleaning my dishes!
Did I mention how delicious these were!

Cream Cheese Won tons
1 Package won ton wrappers-located in the produce area
2 Tbsp Cream Cheese
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Lemon juice
Mix all together in a bowl.  This Recipe made about 10 won tons so double or triple as needed

Once you have it all mixed together.  Add a little bit to each won ton

Dip your finger in some water and go around the edges of each won ton.  Fold the corners into the middle and push tightly.  Once you are done toss them into your heated deep fryer until lightly golden brown.  Don't over cook or your cream cheese will ooze out!

Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!  Come back tomorrow for my fried rice recipe.  I forgot to take a picture of my peppered beef so I guess that means we will have to make it again.

Here is the Sweet and Sour sauce recipe that I made tonight as well.  It was not one of favorites but it was still pretty fantastic!

Sweet and Sour Sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (I would use a little less)
1 cup Ketchup
3/4 brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
dash of cayenne pepper

Mix together and simmer in a sauce pan until sugar is dissolved and to the temp you desire.
