Easy Cheesy Lasagna

Do you ever have that night when you are running behind on everything and before you know it is 5pm and you have know idea what to make for dinner.  You just want a healthy quick meal for your family.  
I would never think that lasagna would be a quick and easy meal but I was wrong.  I had this recipe made in about 20 minutes and then tossed into the oven.



1 lb hamburger
1/2 yellow onion
1 box oven ready lasagna noodles
1 jar of favorite spaghetti sauce-We like Bertolli
1 cup water
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup mozzarela cheese
parmessan cheese

Cook hamburger with onion until no longer pink, and drain fat.  Spray your 13x9 dish with Pam spray. When hamburger is cooked add the spaghetti sauce and water.  Next we need to start layering our dish.  I usually spread a little sauce on the bottom, next I add the noodles, the meat sauce, and add 1/3 of cottage cheese and mozzarela cheese, and a couple dashes of the parmessan.  Repeat layers 3 times.  Cover with tin foil and place in the over at 375 for 60 minutes, or until noodles are tender. ( I checked by sticking a fork in the middle)

*You do not need to boil the oven ready noodles.  You cook them hard

My Notes:
I usually sprinkle a little italian seasoning on each layer.  I was going to add in some spinach but I forgot this time.
