Barbecue Chicken Pizza

I can't even describe how great this pizza tasted!
It was quick and easy to put together and the entire family enjoyed it!

Barbecue Chicken Pizza
2 chicken breasts
Pita bread
1 cup mozzarella cheese
2-3 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
Red onion, diced
Favorite BBQ Sauce, I used Sweet Baby Rays
Cilantro, chopped

Bake or barbecue your chicken in your favorite sauce, then chop. Lay your crust out, I used whole wheat pita bread.  Spread about 2 Tbsp of  Barbecue sauce on top.  Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.  Add on top of cheese your chicken, onion, bacon and cilantro.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.

My Notes:
My chicken was left over barbecue chicken from the night before that I chopped up.  I really liked using the pita bread.  Its alot quicker then having to make dough and it tastes just as great!
I cooked mine on my pizza stone!  If you don't own I highly recommend getting one.  I use it all the time for pizza and breads.

  8. This is a delightful meal for dinner for the whole family. To add more toppings to it, a Roma tomato would be a great addition. This could add more meaty texture and taste to your pizza. And it’s healthy too.
