Do you ever have those days when you just need some chocolate?
Well, I was having one of those days and I was craving something chewy and chocolaty!
I have NEVER made brownies from scratch before. I think Betty knows how to make the perfect brownie so why even attempt to make my own. I was not in the mood to run to the store to pick up my favorite box so I started looking around the internet and
I came across this recipe claiming they were the best brownies....well they were delicious!
The Best Homemade Brownies
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/3 flour
1/2 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and mix with a hand beater. Pour batter into a grease 13x9 baking dish for about 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick in the middle to test if it is done completely.
My Notes:
These were great I wouldn't change a thing. I think next time I would like to add some Andies mints on the top...yumm!
These sound yummy! I would love for you to share at my Tried and True Recipe party: http://rediscovermom.blogspot.com/2013/05/tried-and-true-recipes-11.html
