Chicken Balls

My granny has been making this recipe for a long time!  It has become one of our families favorite and always a quick go to meal.

Chicken Balls

2-3 chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
2 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
6 oz cream cheese
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup italian bread crumbs

Boil chicken and shred, add the cream cheese and pepper and stir until combined.  Open up crescent rolls and lay out each triangle.   Lightly push down on roll trying to flatten out.  Add a spoonful of chicken to the thickest part of roll.  Fold up corners and roll down to the tip.  Try to cover all the chicken with roll.  Place roll in bread crumbs until covered.  Bake at 350 for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

The best part of this meal is the sauce!!  So make sure you don't forget about it.

Chicken Ball Sauce

1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp milk, optional depends on the thickness you want

Combine all ingredients together in a sauce pan until cheese is melted.  Pour on top of chicken balls.

My Notes:
Instead of rolling into balls.  You can leave two crescent rolls attached and fold over into a "pillow".  This how my mom makes them but I think the balls are a little more fun.
